Celebrate the Summer Solstice at Hosmer Winery

It’s finally summer and that means loving time spent outdoors and, more importantly, summer wines! One of the best ways to celebrate this time of year (as well as the longest day of the year) is the summer solstice celebration at Hosmer Winery. The Hosmers have over six decades of experience farming on Finger Lakes soil. The grapes were first planted on Hosmer land in the 1970s and after fifteen years of selling grapes to others, Hosmer Winery was finally founded.

At the Summer Solstice Party, enjoy the sunshine, wine, live jazz music from Tarps Rock, and food from Blowin’ Smoke BBQ. Regional beer, wine, and specialty cocktails will be served as refreshments while you’re outside in the sweet, summer heat. Browse wares from local vendors who will be displaying handcrafted goods for sale such as jewelry, crafts, cheese boards, and more. Shop for someone back home or treat yourself to a gift as a memento of your trip to the Finger Lakes.

You can also participate in the interactive “Wine Walk” through the vineyard and try the new release wines like the Dry Rose of Cabernet.
