It's Kayak Time
Imagine the tranquility of gliding on a glacial lake with nature sanctuaries and vibrant fall foliage as the backdrop. You can do just that on your next visit to our beautiful lakeshore retreat in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country. Kayak Time offers guided tours by a father and son team, Dennis and Patrick Angelo, long-term kayaking experts. Learn proper techniques and explore beautiful waterways during half- or full-day tours designed for both beginners and those with more experience.
Yale Manor is privately tucked away on ten park-like acres and conveniently located on the shores of the breathtaking Seneca Lake, a short 5-minute walk from the Manor house. We might even be able to arrange for kayak delivery to our private dock if you contact us in advance to make arrangements.
Guided tours include:
- Seneca Lake (two to three hours): Follow the northern shore of Seneca Lake and into the Cayuga-Seneca Canal.
- Oak Island to Seneca Lake (five to six hours): Beginning on Oak Island in Waterloo, NY, tour the historic Cayuga-Seneca Canal, a spur of the New York State Erie Canal System.
- Montezuma Loop (six to seven hours): A picturesque loop of the Cayuga-Seneca Canal/Seneca River, Clyde Rive and Erie Canal, skirting the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge.
- Oak Island to Seneca Falls (five to six hours): Travel along the Cayuga-Seneca Canal and visit the historic town of Seneca Falls, birthplace of the women’s rights movement.
- Chimney Bluffs (five to six hours): Experience the open water of Lake Ontario and see the unique towering spires of clay as you travel past Chimney Bluffs State Park.
- Canadice Lake (two to three hours): Take a six-mile circumnavigation through pristine, unspoiled waters.
