Leaves and Lobsters on the Lawn at Glenora Wine Cellars

Summer is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. As the leaves start to change and with usual fall foliage starting in September and peak in early October, the wineries in the area are looking forward to one of their busiest times of the year and many of them celebrate with fall harvest festivals.

Nearby, Glenora Wine Cellars holds its Leaves and Lobsters festival event on Saturday, September 15th and Sunday, September 16th. Enjoy the panoramic view of Seneca Lake as you savor the lobster bake. Food is served 12-4PM and live music will entertain from 1-5PM each day on the Vineyard Stage. On Saturday, Bob’s Brother’s Band takes the stage followed by Diana Jacobs Band on Sunday. For general admission, tickets are $15. The lobster dinner is $58 plus tax with general admission included. Ticket holders receive a whole Maine lobster, steamed clams, salt potatoes, freshly picked sweet corn, coleslaw, rolls, homemade brownies, and iced tea. In addition to lobster dinners, a la carte choices will be available.
