Spring Wine and Cheese Weekend

Take a self-guided tour around scenic Seneca Lake visiting more than 30 of the Finger Lakes wineries for this year’s Spring Wine and Cheese Weekend. Combine the classic, timeless tastes of wine and cheese during one great-tasting weekend. Just purchase your tickets, check in at your chosen starting location, and start sampling delicious cheese-themed dishes and award-winning wines. The event is co-sponsored by Cabot Creamery Cooperative, makers of the World’s Best Cheddar, and the 600 local New York farm families that own Cabot.

At each location, attendees will enjoy a complimentary sample of the dish served by the winery. Near Yale Manor, Three Brothers Wineries & Estates is serving Cheesy Beer and Broccoli Soup. Glenora Wine Cellars plans on its hearty Grilled Bacon Cheeseburger Mac or head south for Bagley’s Poplar Ridge Vineyards’ Gouda Cheese Fondue with Chardonnay. The entrée sample is paired with three different small samples of wine that complements the dish best. Many of the wineries participating use local produce as ingredients in their great-tasting food, so you know you will be eating some true Finger Lakes food. Spring Wine and Cheese Weekend is held April 20^th-22^nd. Tickets in advance are $40 per person ($30 designated driver/non-taster ticket) and are good for 2.5 days. Advance tickets sales end by 1:00 PM EST the Wednesday before the event weekend.
