Become the Winemaker at Glenora Wine Cellars

Take a unique opportunity to create the dosage of your very own sparkling wine at Glenora Wine Cellars. If you don’t know (wine veterans, skip to the next sentence) the dosage of a sparkling wine takes place between disgorging and final corking and involves topping off the wine with mixture of sugar to balance the acidity of the wine with a liqueur d’expedition. You can reserve your tickets to learn this interesting part of the winemaking process this season. Plus, they make great gifts for the holidays and New Year that are personal and thoughtful!

Your experience starts in the cellar where you’ll don an apron and become the winemaker. You’ll first disgorge your own bottle and then create a sparkling wine that is made to your own liking. Winemakers Steve DiFrancesco and Rachel Hadley will guide you through everything you need to know!

The Dosage Your Own Sparkling Wine event at Glenora Wine Cellars will be held December 8th and 9th every hour from 10AM-4PM. Admission is $20 per bottle, six bottle minimum. Reserve your spots today by clicking here.
