Nouveau Celebration at Glenora Wine Cellars

Mark your calendars, folks. It’s November and that means one of our favorite events of the year comes to Romulus, New York - the annual Nouveau Celebration at Glenora Wine Cellars. The event is held every year (since 1977) to celebrate the first wine of the current year’s harvest. The Nouveau wine undergoes a speedy primary fermentation before being racked in a wooden cask. The resulting wine is intensely fruity and fresh, but you truly won’t know until you taste it for yourself--you’ll be the first!

The tradition is the perfect way to enjoy a glass of wine outdoors in the mild weather and among the scenery of fall foliage. Wine will also be served with hearty, seasonal hors d’oeurves from Veraisons. Live music provides entertainment throughout the afternoon. 

The Nouveau Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 9th from 1:00-4:00PM. Check the Glenora Wine Cellars website for a menu being announced soon, but don’t hesitate on purchasing your tickets. Tickets also include a 30% discount on wine purchases. Tickets purchased in advance are just $18.
