Summer Finger Lakes Winery Events near Yale Manor

With more than 100 wineries throughout the Finger Lakes region, it would be impossible to pick favorites. Each has its own unique style, charm and winemaking flare. Here at Yale Manor, we do, however, have a special affinity for the wineries in our own backyard, and we love to send our guests to visit our winemaking neighbors. While we enjoy each of them for their inspiring, delightful wines, it's the summer special events with live music, food and entertainment that get us really excited! If you're visiting the Finger Lakes this summer, check out some of these wineries – all within 10 miles of Yale Manor – for some summer music fun.

Zugibe Vineyard

Join Zugibe Vineyard every Thursday evening for their free Sunset Series live music. Weekly performances are from 6-9 p.m. and run from May 27 through Sept. 30. Seating is first come, first serve. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended. Then on July 24, head to Zugibe Vineyard for their day-long Zugfest, featuring live music from local bands, food, drinks, local vendors and more! The party starts at 11 a.m., and the fun doesn't stop until 9 p.m. Advance tickets are available on their website, and guests who preorder will receive a Zugfest souvenir glass.

If you're visiting for Independence Day weekend, head to Three Brothers Winery & Estate for Live Music at the Vineyard Bar. The Vineyard Bar offers drinks by the glass while you lounge amongst the vines and enjoy the sounds of local musicians. On July 3, from noon to 4 p.m., rock out with singer-songwriter, bass player and guitarist Frankie Wheeler. And check out the funky, bluesy, rock 'n' roll band Boogiemen on July 4, from noon to 4 p.m. The music continues on the first Sunday of every month through October.

Wednesday night live music is back at Ventosa Vineyards! Come support talented local musicians every Wednesday in June and July from 5-8 p.m. Grab a bite to eat at Cafe Toscana, serving  delicious Mediterranean-style food. Every Sunday in August, head to Knapp Winery for their Sunday afternoon music series. Each week features a different musician or band representing all genres of music, from jazz to pop and even zydeco. Stop in the restaurant for a scrumptious lunch before the music begins, then grab a bottle of wine on the deck and enjoy the free show from 1-4 p.m.

Every Friday and Saturday all summer long, kick back at Buttonwood Grove Winery with their stellar lineup of musicians. Friday shows are from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday shows are 12:30-3:30 p.m. There's even an occasional Sunday performance, so be sure to check their live music schedule of local music acts. Sip your favorite wine on their spacious deck or try something new as you jam to the tunes of free live music in the summer outdoors.
