Swedish Hill

Head to Swedish Hill to meet the region’s most famous miniature donkey and the inspiration behind the winery’s most demanded wines, Jack Ass Red and Doobie Blues. Swedish Hill started in 1969 when the Peterson’s planted the family farm’s first vines to sell grapes to local wineries. In the 80s, the farm’s first grapes were crushed instead of sold, producing over 1,200 cases. Today, the winery annually produces 60,000 cases.
